Jamie Lees (Musical Director)
Danielle Hassett (Choir Leader & Lead Singer)
Jamie became the accompanist (playing the piano) very early on in the setting up of Singsation. He brought with him a wealth of experience from accompanying singers and also from accompanying a traditional welsh choir.
Now as Musical Director Jamie is responsible for selecting music and arrangements that fit our choir and day to day running of all music related matters. He also teaches musical theory to the choir members and oversees other behind the scenes running of the choir.
What Jamie says about Singsation:
I cannot describe how proud I am of all of the ladies who come & rehearse every week. I am blown away not only by the talent of the choir, but also how much they all love being there.
Sometimes rehearsals can be tough, & after a long day of work, or looking after their children (or both) every member of the choir gives 100%.
I love Thursday evenings and get as much enjoyment as the ladies singing!
Having been a keen singer since being at school, Danielle has sung in a multitude of different choirs spanning the north-west. Being a classically trained singer, Danielle has a rich and vibrant tone to her voice as well as being a qualified vocal coach.
Danielle is responsible for leading the choir during rehearsals, teaching new songs and demonstrating how to get different sounds using the voice.

I love my role in Singsation, which is leading the choir.
I love being surrounded by smiling faces, who all get as much enjoyment from singing as I do.
Singing has been a lifelong passion of mine, & Singsation allows me to express my passion each week, through each song we do. Each week we get stronger & stronger, & our potential is incredible!!!
