About Singsation

Singsation Pop Choir was the idea of a small group of old school friends who shared a talent & passion for singing. The girls set about starting up a choir singing popular music, in the Abergele area, & met every fortnight to share their enthusiasm.

After some promotion, & in a very short time, numbers at every rehearsal were growing. A larger venue was needed to accommodate the growing numbers, so St David's Community Centre was then found. Due to demand from members, the choir management decided that Singsation would meet weekly, on Thursday evenings to rehearse.

The majority of the members are not from a musical background, & have never sung before in a choir. This gives us a blank canvass to work with.

Although the choir is very new, the talent and dedication from the members ensures that the choir goes from strength to strength, not only in terms of sound, but also in their ability.

Rehearsals are intensive, but this, mixed with humour & light-hearted warm ups, means that Thursday evenings have become to many, the highlight of the week!
